This superb old Labor Truss-Bridge racing cycle has recently been mechanically restored. The cosmetics of the frame and forks have been left alone, so it has a wonderful patina …as befits a ninety-year-old racing machine.
French machines of this era often sport wooden wheels, requiring tyres that are now difficult to obtain. So, to make it more practical to use on 21st century roads, we’ve built new steel wheels with a period Eadie Coaster brake, and fitted new cream Schwalbe tyres. The accessory Bluemells tyre inflator pump is in working order. The handlebar grips are cork and the saddle is a beautiful French 1920s Lamplugh. This beauty is ready to ride…
