1940s Phillips Mk.V* Military Roadster
Phillips Cycle Co Ltd was one of the cycle manufacturers that made bicycles to the government military pattern MkV specification.
The MkV* designation means that the bicycle had conventional roller lever brakes, whereas the MkV had a roller lever front and coaster (back-pedal) rear brake. The paintwork is original. The headbadge and rear mudguard badge are intact. It’s fitted with heavy duty pedals, and the standard military pattern rear carrier.
New tyres have recently been fitted, the machine is in good all-round condition, and it’s ready for riding and display.
