1952 Sinclair Goddard Power-Pak. New-Old-Stock
A very rare new-old-stock Powerpak, still in its box.
When the new-fangled ‘mo-peds’ arrived in 1954, British commuters had no further need for the beloved cycle-attachment engines that had fuelled their journeys to work through the early postwar years when new vehicles were not available for sale in Great Britain. Shops had to discount the prices of unsold cycle-attachment engines, and many remained unsold. This one came from the attic of a small motorcycle shop that closed down in 2003. It’s in first class order, complete with all its fittings, and has never been run.
