This is one of the rarest postwar French cycle-attachment engines. They were expensive to make, so were not competitive when they reached the market. In 1949, most people bought a Veloxolex or VAP3 instead and, by 1950 many other companies had introduced their new auxiliary engines and cyclemotors. As a result, not many were manufactured and very few still exist.
This unusual machine comes from one of my friends in France, and is in very good original condition. It features an extremely rare option, unique to this model – springing ‘Pullman’ handlebars patented by Citroen.
