TOTALLY ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR HANDLEBAR GRIPS!
This excellent pre-war BSA retains its original paint and BSA transfers (on the headstock, down tube and seat tube). There’s also a shop transfer at the top of the seat tube, though I can’t see what it says.
As you can see by comparing the bicycle with the catalogue description, it is also identical to the catalogue specification apart from different handlebar grips. And as you’ll observe further down the page, the Brooks B15 saddle was not suggested for this bicycle, but was an option offered in the same 1937 BSA catalogue.
The only criticism I have is that the front mudguard is a little bent, which is a common problem with 75-year-old celluloid mudguards. Otherwise this BSA Sportsman’s Light Tourist is spot on.
The machine was recently serviced, and is ready to ride.
Worldwide delivery is available. Shipping to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, etc is £250.

The lettering on the rear mudguard has faded. I’ve enhanced the photo, below, so you can see that it is a Bluemels Featherweight. To re-instate the lettering you’d need to re-paint over the script.
